Universal marine engines usually accept one of two different zincs. These zincs are not interchangable and you will need to order the correct zinc for your engine.

Zinc # 301069 is for use on engines with 2" heat exchangers. Zinc # 301068 is for use on engines with 3" heat exchangers.

Universal models M-15 and 5411 do not include a fresh water cooling system so they do not need zincs.

When ordering hoses for your Universal or Westerbeke engine it is important to note that the manufacturer has changed the specification on many of its hoses.
